Bus Transporting Soldiers Overturns Near Mitzpe Ramon; Second Major Bus Incident Reported

A bus overturned Thursday near Mitzpe Ramon in southern Israel, prompting a significant emergency response.

Medical teams from Magen David Adom and additional rescue forces rushed to the scene to provide treatment to the injured. Several passengers required medical attention, and some were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.

IDF spokesman: A civilian bus transporting IDF soldiers overturned in southern Israel.

As a result of the incident, one IDF soldier was moderately injured and several other soldiers sustained light injuries. The soldiers received medical treatment at the scene from teams of Magen David Adom, and some were transported to a hospital for further care.

In a separate incident in southern Israel, a traffic accident occurred involving a bus and a civilian vehicle. Several soldiers were lightly injured in that crash as well and were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.

The families of the soldiers have been notified.

The circumstances surrounding both incidents will be examined by the relevant authorities within the IDF.
