Be’er Sheva Orders Opening of Shelters Citywide

Amid rising tensions, Be’er Sheva takes proactive measures by opening public shelters to ensure citizens’ safety.

While the defense establishment emphasizes that there is no official change in the guidelines for the public at this stage, more and more citizens and local authorities are no longer waiting until the last minute.

They prepare in advance, open shelters, map out weak points and refresh procedures – with the understanding that the gap between “guidelines” and “reality” may close very quickly.

In Be’er Sheva, under the direction of Mayor Rubik Danilovich, a municipal order was given to open public shelters throughout the city as a preventive measure.
