Many of deceased victims were reportedly in a shelter when the missile impacted. The IDF is conducting an investigation.

In a statement, the mayor of Beit Shemesh said as many as 20 individuals are still unaccounted for.

At least four homes were completely destroyed, and many others were severely damaged.
