Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and currently the most powerful figure in Tehran, has denied reports that he’s willing to negotiate with the United States.

“We will not engage in any negotiations with the United States,” Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani said in a post on X, dismissing a report by The Wall Street Journal that he is making a push for renewed talks with the US two days after Khamenei’s killing.
