Arkia Israeli Airlines announces the launch of special rescue flights.

The airline will operate a dedicated Athens–Taba–Athens route in cooperation with Electra Airways.

Flights will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft and are intended to allow passengers to cross overland via the Taba border crossing into Israel, as well as depart Israel through Taba on flights to Athens.

Taba Airport is just a 40 minute drive from Israel
