IDF Raises Readiness Nationwide Amid Regional Tensions

The Israel Defense Forces says it has increased readiness along all of Israel’s borders in recent weeks as it closely monitors regional developments amid rising tensions with Iran. IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said the military is fully prepared on a broad scale, both defensively and offensively, and is maintaining heightened alertness across all fronts.

Defrin said ongoing situational assessments are being led by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and stressed that the situation is being managed in a measured and responsible manner, with forces ready for a wide range of scenarios. He urged the public to rely only on official IDF channels, warned against rumors, and confirmed there is no change to Home Front Command guidelines at this time.
