IDF Targets Senior Hamas, Islamic Jihad Leaders

Israel strikes Gaza in response to ceasefire violation, targeting key Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.

IDF Eliminates Senior Hamas and Islamic Jihad Terrorists

Following a serious ceasefire violation in western Rafah earlier this week, Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet carried out targeted strikes across Gaza, eliminating several senior terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The operation came after terrorists opened fire on an armored IDF vehicle in the Rafah area.

Those eliminated include Muhammad Hamed Muhammad Khuli, commander of Hamas’ Central Camps Operations Department and a key figure involved in preparations for the October 7 massacre; Ashraf Adnan Muhammad al-Khatib, commander of Islamic Jihad’s rocket and missile array in the Central Camps area; and Saeed Khaled Ali Abd al-Rahman, head of sniping in Hamas’s Deir al-Balah Battalion. In an additional strike, two Hamas terrorists working to rebuild terror infrastructure were also eliminated.

Israeli officials said the strikes significantly degraded the terror groups’ ability to plan and carry out attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, and stressed that operations will continue against any attempts to violate agreements or advance terrorism from Gaza.
