Mayor Mamdani Meets Trump for NYC Housing Talks

Mayor Zohran Mamdani discusses housing development and ICE detainee Elaina Aghayeva’s release with President Trump.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani:

“I had a productive meeting with President Trump this afternoon. I’m looking forward to building more housing in New York City.”

Mamdani also said he spoke with President Trump about Elaina Aghayeva, a Columbia student who was detained by ICE this morning.

Trump told Mamdani that she will be released imminently.
