Omani FM to Meet Vance in Washington to Avert War With Iran

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi will meet Vice President J.D. Vance and other U.S. officials in Washington on Friday for previously unreported talks aimed at preventing a potential war with Iran. The meetings come amid ongoing indirect negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program and regional tensions.

Al Busaidi has been mediating a series of indirect talks between Iranian and U.S. representatives, including a recent round in Geneva that ended without a formal agreement.
