Taliban forces seize control of Pakistani posts amid ongoing clashes in six border provinces along the Durand Line.
“In response to repeated border violations and aggressive actions by Pakistani forces, extensive offensive operations have begun against Pakistani military bases and positions along the Durand Line,” said an official Taliban spokesperson.
According to him, Taliban forces have already taken control of several Pakistani army posts. Clashes are now underway in six border provinces.
The Durand Line is an almost unmarked 2,640-kilometer border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
